FOR SPAIN
SIMS
International Code for
Spain is 34;
Fixed and mobile numbers start with a 0;
It’s a good practice to save and dial all your numbers in the international format:
003417610028170 or +3417610028170
The format is + or 00, then country code, and then number (mobile and landline without a 0)
This international format can be used to dial while in Spain to eliminate any errors.
To
make any international call:
Press
the 00, dial the Country code, Area code, Phone
number and press Send
For example, in order to call to the US (our office)
(00 twice),1 (country code),
415(Area code), 9290400 (Phone number), Send
or +1 (country code),
415(Area code), 9290400 (Phone number), Send

Note: Callers would not dial the 0 after the country code
To
answer a call: Press

To
adjust the earpiece volume:
Press
arrow keys during a call in order to adjust the earpiece volume
To
adjust the ringing volume:
For
ringing vol. Key Menu,
5, 2, select the ringing volume & press ok.
Ringing
tone, key Menu 5, 1, select the ringing tone & press ok.
Somebody
who tries to reach you from the US, he/she needs to dial 00-34x-xxx-xxxx.
Troubleshooting:
Can’t make a call?
-
Is your battery charged? --- If not, please charge it.
-
Does the handset have a signal? --- If not, please stay clear of any
obstructions such as tall buildings.
If it still doesn’t work,
please go to Menu, Setting , Phone Setting , Network
Selection (6-2-4) and choose “Manual”. Select a network with the
strongest signal from a list of the available networks. When leaving the
country, make sure to change back to Automatic.

Does the number“2” appear on the top left corner of your screen?
--- If yes, go to Menu, Setting , Call Setting , Phone
line in use (6-1-5) and choose “Phone line 1”
SPAIN VOICEMAIL
When you receive new
messages your voicemail will notify you by sending an SMS message. The SMS will
be in Spanish but will say one, two, three. Voicemail messages are stored for
72 hours.

Check your voicemail:
-
Dial 1, 2, 3
-
A Spanish operator
will come on and say if you have a message or not. If you do then the
messages will start, if not it will give you other options.

After listening to the message, you will
have a number of options.
TO
CHANGE YOUR PERSONAL GREETING
(Please keep the “standard”
greeting)
-
Dial 1, 2, 3 and press 2.
-
After prompted by the new operator voice,
please 2 to change outgoing message.
-
The operator will speak again, followed by
a beep. Record your message and then press #.
-
Your message will replay. Press # to save
or * to delete and re-record.
AFTER
LISTENING TO YOUR MESSAGES, PRESS
-
9 to save the message (3 days);
-
7 to delete a message;
-
5 to find call date and time, as well as
number of caller;
-
4 to listen to message again;
-
8 to return the call.
TO
CHANGE YOUR VOICEMAIL TO ENGLISH
-
Dial 1, 2, 3 and wait
for the Spanish operator to finish speaking.
-
Press 1 then enter 1,
2, 3, 4, then press #.
-
Hang up and redial 1,
2, 3.
-
When the Spanish operator starts speaking,
press 4, press 4 again, then press 5, and then wait for the Spanish operator
to finish speaking.
-
Press #. After this, your voicemail should
be in English.
Calling
Voicemail from Abroad or from a Fixed Phone
From
your cell phone dial 34-609-123123. A Spanish operator will then ask for your
nine digit cellular phone number. Once you have entered that, you will have
full access to your voicemail option.
Changing
your Voice Mail to English

Dial 4919 and complete the following steps.

Press 6 and wait for the change of voice.

Press 2, wait.
-
Press 1. After this your
voice mail should be in English.
