AT&T has begun to provide foreign language interpretation services to customers of Action Cellular Rent A Phone, a San Francisco-based international phone rental company.

AT&T Language Line Services, based near the International School of Language in Monterey, provides on-line translations in more than 140 languages. Under the agreement, callers on Action Cellular phones can hook into the interpretation services.

Action Cellular President Lee Dorfman said the agreement will help his company drum up more global business opportunities.
