Action Cellular Rent A Phone, a
leader in portable phone rentals, is now offering its customers the new
Mobile Merchant, which provides an on-line credit card authorization and
cellular phone together in one package. The new lightweight versatile
cellular transaction automation system electronically records and
validates credit card payments while the user is on the move. In
addition, the system has the full services of a cellular phone.
The system provides a telephone
handset; programmable cellular telephone restrictions and security
locks; a standard battery pack which supports two-to-three hours of
continuos use; a time-out switch; 100V AC conductivity; a battery
recharger; and the Veri-Fone terminal which electronically automates the
processing of information transactions.
